  • Is Pearblossom Academy, Inc. accredited?

    We are fully accredited by Middle States Association (MSA-CESS) which is an accreditation agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.

  • When is Pearblossom Academy open for business?

    We are located in Mississippi and our business hours are 9 am to 3 pm (Central Time Zone), Monday through Friday. On the East coast, our business hours are from 10 am to 4 pm; on the West Coast 7 am to 1 pm. We accept enrollments all throughout the year.

  • I just received my books what do I do next?

    Please read all the paperwork we have sent to you. You will access the website www.pearblossomacademy.com for High School (grades 9-12). Read a chapter, create your study guide, then take your test.

  • Is there any tutoring available should my student need it?

    You may call the toll-free number 800.309.3569 to receive help on the occasional question. If more extensive one-on-one assistance is needed, professional educational support is available for an additional fee at Createyoursuccess.biz.

  • How do I document my P.E. hours or How do I document my Speech hours?

    Please, send us the P.E. or Speech Course Documentation Form available from the Student Portal (signed by the parent) indicating that the student has completed 80 hours for one semester or 160 hours for the year (two semesters). For P.E., briefly describe the student's activity.

  • How do I obtain a progress report?

    The parent can call at any time to obtain a progress report throughout the year.

  • How do I obtain a report card, transcript, or a diploma?

    The parent should call when the student has completed the school year. Please allow 2 weeks.

  • How do I obtain a copy of my transcript sent to a college?

    You can mail, fax 601.835.1718, or send an email requesting your transcript with your signature to registrar@pearblossomacademy.org. Please include your name at time of enrollment, date of birth, and address where you want the transcript mailed.

  • How do I enroll for the next school year?

    Complete an enrollment form just like you did the year before. You can obtain the application at www.pearblossomacademy.com (then select Enrollment Application and Costs) or call our office to request an information packet.

  • How do I modify my schedule of courses?

    Please note: Core or required subjects CANNOT be substituted. Please send us an email (available from the front page of the Student Portal) describing your request to change any specific course or courses.

  • How do I return my books?

    They are to be sent to Pearblossom Academy, P.O. Box 439, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629. If you are using the U.S. Post Office, ask them about a Flat-Rate Priority Mail Box which costs about $14-$18 to send 3 or 4 books to Pearblossom from anywhere in the U.S.; otherwise, if using FEDEX or UPS, send to Pearblossom Academy, 1882 Mill Creek Ln SW, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629 Note: (1) You are responsible for the postage/insurance fees necessary to return the books. (2) Occasionally, books sent to Pearblossom are lost in the mail. The book fee is waived for the next enrolled grade ONLY in the case Pearblossom Academy, Inc. receives the books. Therefore, IT IS OUR RECOMMENDATION THAT YOU carefully tape each and every seam on the box or boxes containing the books and track and INSURE the package(s) to guarantee our receipt of the contents or replacement costs (at $85 per book and/or DVD).

  • When and how do I make a payment?

    Your payment is due by the 15th of every month until paid in full. If you are paying with a credit card or a debit card, you may login online at pearblossomacademy.com and select the secure payment option, or you can can call us with payment at 1-800-309-3569, or fax the payment to us at 1-601-835-1718. If you are paying with a check or money order, you will mail it to: Pearblossom Academy, P.O. Box 439, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629. Please remember to put the student’s name and number on your payment.

  • Can I submit assignments via Fax?

    No faxed assignments are permissible.

  • Is there a special discount if two students in the same household are enrolled in the same grade and sharing books?

    There is a $50.00 discount for the 2nd student and only one book deposit fee is charged for two students in the same grade that are sharing the same set of books.

  • Do I need to send a COPY of the student's Immunization Card?

    No. Copies of immunization records are not needed.

  • How much time does the student have to complete each grade level?

    The program should be completed in 9 to 12 months. There is a $50 charge per month for each and every month the student continues beyond the 12th month.

  • How long will it take to get my books after I have sent an enrollment application?

    From November through May, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery; from June through October, please allow 6 to 8 weeks due to our peak season.

  • How do I access a QBASIC compiler for the Computer Literacy Course?

    Go to www.quitebasic.com, type your program steps, then press play to RUN.

  • How long does it take for my essay to be graded?

    Essays are individually analyzed and graded and therefore expect a 2-3 week turn-around time for each submitted essay.

  • When should I turn in my English and State History essays?

    One English essay should be completed and submitted for grading each quarter (every 9 weeks). Four English essays are required. One State History essay should be completed and submitted each month until the total of 6 essays has been completed.
